On March 18, 2026, our youth theater presented "Lionhearts" by Nino Haratischwilli – a play about child labor. An eight-year-old boy sews stuffed animals in a factory – including a lion, which travels through many countries to Germany, ending up in the hands of children there who suffer violations of their rights (Mühlheim Children's Play Prize 2021). It was a moving and well-acted play that captivated the school classes in attendance. We were also able to present our "Child Labor Exhibition" and related materials in the foyer.
