Our name, " Terre des Hommes " stands for "Earth of Humanity." We protect children from violence, exploitation, and the consequences of war, displacement, and environmental destruction. Together with local partner organizations, we provide humanitarian aid and support sustainable projects in 47 countries. We work alongside young people worldwide and our members in Germany to advocate for children's rights. We are independent of governments, businesses, religious communities, and political parties.
