  • Auditing

The annual financial statements are presented every year. The last examination took place in May 2024 by Context Treuhand GmbH Wirtschaftsprüfungsgesellschaft, Osnabrück, and the annual financial statements were confirmed without restriction ( for the confirmation notice ).

  • Club management

The association Terre des Hommes Germany e. V. has a full -time board, consisting of three members, with the respective own responsibility. A presidium elected by the general meeting, consisting of five volunteers of the association, controls the work of the board. A clear separation of management and supervision is consistently implemented. Our organizational structure

  • Internal revision

Once a year, the internal revision of the association in the federal office checks several work areas. The two auditors are elected by the members of the association at the general meeting and work on a voluntary basis. Every year, the focus is determined by the auditor themselves.

  • Controlling

An economic plan is drawn up for each financial year, which is approved by the Presidium in its first meeting of the year. Compliance with this plan is mandatory and is kept by a continuous target/actual comparison. If necessary, an adjustment is made once a year as part of a supplementary budget. As part of the controlling, the numbers of financial accounting are processed, commented and evaluated, but on the other hand it also ensures the examination of projects in the regions. The examination takes place both financially and in terms of content. The regularity and the content of these exams are set, but can be adapted to the respective current needs. The auditing reports of foreign auditors in the project regions are also an integral part. In India, all projects are checked by auditors, and these are commissioned in the other regions. In the case of co -financed projects, in addition to the annual auditing in the projects, there is a final examination of the project by the subsidy. The content of the content works on the basis of the Logical Framework. For each project, key figures and indicators are determined to achieve the goal, for which it is regularly reported. These reports are systematically evaluated and are the basis for improvements. Internal reporting defines the regularity and responsibilities of all reports.
