Syria: Hope for a new beginning

Following the fall of Bashar al-Assad, Syria is experiencing a historic turning point – but the scars of war are deep, and the humanitarian situation remains tense. Houses and infrastructure are destroyed, and large parts of the population have been displaced from their homes. In all of this, children bear the heaviest burden: they suffer from hunger, disease, and the loss of stability.
