For Terre des Hommes the implementation of the UN Convention on the Rights of the Child is an integral part of its own work. Terre des Hommes is therefore committed to being vigilant against all forms of violence against children in its own work context. To ensure child protection, Terre des Hommes has developed a Child Protection Policy, which is implemented at all levels of the office, among volunteers, and in program and project work. The project partner organizations commit to their own child protection policies in the cooperation agreement.
Furthermore, as a member of the Terre des Hommes Terre des Hommes actively promotes the global implementation of international child protection standards in accordance with the guidelines of the international network " Keeping Children Safe ." Terre des Hommes is an accredited member of this network through the international federation.
