For Terre des Hommes upholding the UN Convention on the Rights of the Child is an integral part of its work. Terre des Hommes is therefore committed to being vigilant against all forms of violence against children, even within its own operations. To ensure child protection, Terre des Hommes has developed child protection guidelines that are implemented at all levels of its headquarters, among its volunteers, and in its program and project work. Project partner organizations commit to their own child protection policies in their cooperation agreements.
as a member of the International Federation Terre des Hommes Terre des Hommes advocates for the worldwide implementation of international child protection standards in accordance with the guidelines of the international network " Keeping Children Safe ." Terre des Hommes is an accredited member of this network through the International Federation.
