The annual opening exhibition "Children have rights - everywhere in the world" opens

Despite the snowstorm, we opened our exhibition today in the presence of Ganderkesee's mayor, Ralf Wessel.

It has become a welcome tradition for us to present an exhibition on a Terre des Hommes theme at the Ganderkesee town hall at the start of the year. This year, it is the new exhibition on children's rights, which portrays young people and gives them a voice as they advocate for these rights.

Unfortunately, several print media outlets and representatives of the council factions had to cancel due to the weather, but at least one newspaper was present for the press conference. Furthermore, Mayor Ralf Wessel attended despite his tight schedule, which was rather turbulent due to the weather, something we were particularly pleased about.

The municipality of Ganderkesee has long supported our work. We always enjoy visiting the town hall, as well as the regioVHS adult education center, the Müller cultural center, and the municipal library, because we feel that this support is not just empty words, but comes from the heart. Thank you so much!
