Two strenuous days that were worth it: more than €1,000 in donations and sales proceeds, lots of fun and an invitation for 2026.
The first handmade market in Delmenhorst's market hall was privately organized by two very friendly and talented craftswomen after it was announced that the Delmenhorst Festival of Lights would be cancelled this year. We were there with our Christmas assortment, especially our socks, and we certainly didn't lack for customers. One customer exclaimed loudly: "They have the best socks ever!"
All exhibitors were truly spoiled: the first coffee was free, as was the kale at lunchtime, which the two had cooked especially for the occasion.
The two organizers had not only attracted interesting exhibitors with a diverse range of products for the event, but also provided a fantastic program for children alongside the sales booths: coloring pictures for the youngest participants, crafting with Lego, and painting ceramics were all on offer. We donated a few copies of our children's rights MauMaus game, which naturally found its fans as well.
Inspired by the great atmosphere, Daniel repeatedly appeared as Santa Claus, which visibly delighted young and old alike.
