Users are solely responsible for their use of our TikTok profile and its features. This applies in particular to the use of interactive features (e.g., commenting, sharing, liking, following).

1. Processing of personal data when contacting us

When you contact us via our TikTok profile (e.g., via comments or direct messages), we process the personal data you provide (in particular your username and the content of your request) in order to handle your request.

Where necessary for processing your request, we may need to refer you to other communication channels (e.g., email). Please do not publish sensitive or other personal data in publicly accessible areas (especially comments). We may delete or hide publicly posted personal data immediately upon becoming aware of it, provided this is technically possible.

The legal basis for the processing is Article 6(1)(f) GDPR. Our legitimate interest lies in the effective processing of inquiries and communication with users.

2. Data processing by TikTok

When you access our TikTok profile, TikTok, as an independent data controller, processes users' personal data. This includes, in particular, the IP address, device information, location data, and information about user behavior, which is collected using cookies or similar technologies.

TikTok provides us with aggregated statistical analyses of our profile usage (e.g., video views, interactions, reach) through its analytics features (e.g., "TikTok Analytics"). We have no control over how TikTok processes this data.

We are particularly unaware of

• to what extent TikTok processes personal data from visits to our profile for its own purposes,
• how long this data will be stored,
• whether and to what extent the data is passed on to third parties.

TikTok processes data regardless of whether you are registered or logged in to TikTok. If you are logged into your TikTok account while visiting our profile, TikTok can associate your visit with your user account. This is done primarily through cookies or similar technologies.

It cannot be ruled out that TikTok may also transfer personal data to third countries (especially countries outside the European Union). We have no control over these data transfers.

3. Joint responsibility

Insofar as TikTok provides us with aggregated usage statistics (e.g. via “TikTok Analytics”), joint controllership may exist in this respect pursuant to Art. 26 GDPR.

TikTok is primarily responsible for processing this data. In particular, TikTok fulfills its information obligations under Articles 13 and 14 of the GDPR and the data subject rights under Articles 15 et seq. of the GDPR. We do not have full access to the personal data processed by TikTok.

4. Your rights

You have the following rights with regard to your personal data:

• Right to rectification pursuant to Article 16 GDPR,
• Right to erasure pursuant to Article 17 GDPR,
• Right to restriction of processing pursuant to Article 18 GDPR,
• Right to object to processing pursuant to Article 21 GDPR,
• Right to data portability pursuant to Article 20 GDPR.

If the processing is based on Article 6(1)(f) GDPR, you have the right to object to the processing at any time on grounds relating to your particular situation.
