Terre des Hommes , together with young people worldwide and with our members in Germany, consistently advocates for the rights of children and young people – regardless of political, economic or religious interests.
We place particular emphasis on our collaborative, participatory approach: We work closely with local partner organizations and the children themselves. In this way, we strengthen civic engagement on the ground and ensure that aid has a lasting impact and that young people can shape their own lives.
We combine humanitarian aid with long-term project work: In addition to providing rapid support in crises we promote sustainable projects and protect children from violence, exploitation, and the consequences of war, displacement, and environmental destruction. This creates concrete future prospects for children worldwide – made possible by people who reliably support our work.

With your donation of
- 25 euros will provide a school package including pens, books and a school uniform.
- 75 euros will send a child to school for a year.
- 120 euros can be used to create a school garden for children to enrich their school meals with fresh vegetables.
