Johann von Bülow is the new Terre des Hommes ambassador

Johann von Bülow, an artist known for numerous national and international film and television productions as well as theater performances, is the new ambassador for Terre des Hommes . He has performed at the Schauspielhaus Bochum and the Düsseldorfer Schauspielhaus, played the role of the spurned lover in François Ozon's "Frantz," directed the ARTE cult series "Parlament," and appeared in many ARD and ZDF crime series such as "Herr und Frau Bulle," "Mord mit Aussicht," "Tatort," and "Polizeiruf 110.".

“I am delighted to be an ambassador for Terre des Hommes . Protecting and empowering children worldwide, especially in these times, is an important task that I am happy to dedicate myself to. Where we are born is a matter of chance, and children too often suffer from circumstances beyond their control. The approach taken by Terre des Hommes —supporting them, listening to their needs, and involving them in the decision-making processes—completely convinces me. I have already witnessed the impressive work of a team of dedicated young women in a Terre des Hommes project in Hamburg, which strives to give refugee children a future in our country. Giving my voice to those who are otherwise underheard is a task I gladly undertake, whether locally or in another region of the world, whether in acute emergencies or through long-term advocacy,” explains Johann von Bülow.

Terre des Hommes is delighted to have the support of such a prominent figure. "I have met Johann von Bülow, a man who is deeply committed to advocating for the rights of refugee and exploited children and young people. During our first joint project visit, I found him to be open and very interested in learning about the work of Terre des Hommes . With him, we have a supporter who will help raise the profile of our diverse projects for the protection and empowerment of children and young people," says Joshua Hofert, spokesperson for the board of Terre des Hommes .
