Making hope visible

The project "Hope in Darkness" gives Afghan women and girls a space to raise their voices. Young Afghan women have captured their experiences, feelings, and hopes with brush and pen. The resulting moving artworks and texts are presented to a wider public as part of this exhibition .

The exhibition shows how women in Afghanistan are finding creative ways to express themselves and tell their stories. It thus sends a powerful message of courage, self-determination, and hope.

Show exhibition and share hope

"Hope in Darkness" is a project of the association FIDA e. V. , which was founded by Afghan women in exile. The distribution of the exhibition is coordinated by Terre des Hommes Germany e. V.

We welcome inquiries from dedicated individuals, institutions, and organizations who would like to present the exhibition "Hope in Darkness" in their city. Whether in town halls, museums and galleries, community centers, or other venues – we are happy to support you with the planning and connect you with speakers for your exhibition opening.

Would you like to show the exhibition in your city free of charge? Order it free of charge.
