Welcome to the Terre des Hommes Achim group. Our group has been active since 1980, and we volunteer our time to help disadvantaged children worldwide. We are particularly committed to ensuring that children's rights are realized.

We are a group of around 30 dedicated women and men between the ages of 40 and 80. Our group advocates for children's rights in various ways: We organize events and raise awareness about the work of Terre des Hommes. A particular highlight of our work is our Terre des Hommesmarket, through which we provide concrete assistance locally and use the proceeds to help children worldwide.
We do that
Clothing exchange
At the “Terre des HommesMarket” at Achimer Brückenstraße 5 in Achim, we sell used clothing and small household items.
Our opening hours:
- Monday: 3:00 PM – 6:00 PM
- Wednesday: 10:00–12:00 and 15:00–18:00
- Saturday: 10:00–12:00
We gladly accept clothing donations during our opening hours.
...and even more:
Christmas bazaar, plant flea market, children's festival for World Children's Day, benefit concerts, exhibitions – we regularly organize all of these to empower children worldwide.

Join our group
We meet once a month, always on the first Wednesday at 6:30 pm in the club room of KASCH at Bergstraße 2. There we discuss current topics and plan our upcoming activities.
