We introduce ourselves
We are an open Terre des Hommes group and have been active in Munich and the surrounding area since 1967.
What does "open" mean?
Everyone can contribute their own interests, ideas, and available time. Even those with limited time or who are not permanently based in Munich are very welcome.
What unites us is our shared commitment to children's rights worldwide. Whether through campaigns, events, social media, on the website, in contact with politicians and other organizations, or through fundraising: there are many ways to get involved.
You can find more information about our past activities in the news section.

Our network
The Terre des Hommesgroup Munich Central is a member of the North South Forum Munich, an association of around 60 Munich initiatives active in the field of development policy.
Like the other Terre des Hommesgroups in Bavaria, the Munich group belongs to the One World Network Bavaria , the Bavarian state network of development policy groups, world shops and local One World networks.
We are also networked with Olytopia, a project that, together with residents and interested parties, aims to make the Olympic Village in Munich more sustainable.
We are also an alliance partner of the association München ist bunt (Munich is colorful ), a very committed non-profit organization for democracy and tolerance.
At events or at our information stands, we are happy to sell goods from the Feldmoching World Shop.
Another cooperation partner for us here in Munich is MORGEN, the network of Munich migrant organizations.
We are also very pleased that we receive support at events organized by our ambassador Christian Schulte-Loh, both from his management and here in Munich from LachundSchiess Veranstaltung GmbH
