Welcome
Welcome to the Terre des Hommes Penzberg-Pfaffenwinkel group. For over 40 years, we have been committed to helping disadvantaged children and giving them better opportunities for a dignified life.
this is us
We are active in the districts of Weilheim-Schongau, Garmisch-Partenkirchen, and Bad Tölz-Wolfratshausen, where we raise awareness of the children's rights organization Terre des Hommes through various activities.
We provide information about children's rights and the work of our global project partners. We also strive to collect donations to directly Terre des Hommessupport
What we do on site
- In the cloister of Benediktbeuern Monastery, we regularly present exhibitions on topics such as child labor, child trafficking, child soldiers, the right to clean water, and how Terre des Hommes helps to alleviate the problems of the affected children.
- local events such as the “Kulturknall” in Murnau and seek support for our causes.
- We organize themed lectures, give talks in schools and support the "Street Child for a Day" campaign.
- Before elections, we get involved in the election campaign with development policy issues.
Actively and well-connected together
- We are also happy to support other Terre des Hommes groups at events that take place across regions.
- Locally, we collaborate with organizations such as the association “Menschen Helfen” from Murnau, the Soroptimists, the Benediktbeuern Monastery, the Bad Tölz-Wolfratshausen District Education Center, Amnesty International, the Murnau Adult Education Center and various schools.
- It is always impressive to get to know the Terre des Hommes project partner organizations at supra-regional meetings or trips to the project countries and to see how our help is making a difference.
