At Mainz Central Station, you're not just heading to your next destination, but also into the emotional and intellectual world of children and young people. The exhibition "Rich in Ideas! Poor in Opportunities!" showcases the results of an art workshop with approximately 90 children and young people from three Mainz youth centers. The artwork is loud, vibrant, and full of life, drawing attention to the issue of child poverty in Germany. The right to a good upbringing and the development of one's own potential, as enshrined in the UN Convention on the Rights of the Child, should apply to every child in Germany as well. The exhibition was organized by the "Equal Opportunities for All Children and Young People" alliance, of which our Terre des Hommes Mainz group is a member.
The exhibition opened on September 28th and can be visited directly at the main train station until October 16th
