The "Ehrenfeld Art Route" took place in Cologne's Ehrenfeld district on the first weekend in May, and our Terre des Hommes Cologne group participated again this year. The concept: a stroll through galleries, off-spaces, and hidden studios in backyards, showcasing art of all kinds. Besides photography, informal art, sculpture, and media art, fans of Neo-Pop Art also found something to enjoy.
The members of the Cologne group and their numerous volunteers hosted the 8th annual benefit art event at "Atelier Colonia." Surrounded by inspiring artworks and accompanied by good music, visitors could browse, chat, and enjoy themselves in a relaxed atmosphere. A small but delicious buffet with sparkling wine, coffee, and cake provided refreshments.
The result was impressive: over the two days, a total of €7,900 was raised through the sale of artworks and other generous donations.
