There were plenty of waffles to go around at the "social market" near St. Elizabeth's Church in Marburg. Many visitors were drawn by the enticing aroma, and the waffle irons of our Terre des Hommes Marburg group churned out delicious treats. Once the batter, made with 50 eggs, was gone, visitors could spin the wheel of fortune and purchase handcrafted items for a good cause.
With over 600 euros raised, many good conversations and lots of fun, the volunteers then went home.
