Despite the official ceasefire, bombings and displacement continue in Lebanon. More than a million people are displaced, including hundreds of thousands of children. Millions more children are in need of humanitarian aid. Yet so far, less than half of the required international aid has been provided. We will not abandon these people.
Immediate aid that arrives
Our local partners distribute food, drinking water, blankets, and hygiene products – quickly, efficiently, and directly where the need is greatest. We reach not only families in official emergency shelters but also those who would otherwise receive no support.
Protection for women and girls – around the clock
In prolonged crises, the risk of gender-based violence increases significantly. Our partner organizations FEMALE and ABAAD address this issue directly.
- 24-hour emergency hotline for affected women and girls
- Counseling, support and psychosocial assistance
- Shelters for women and children in acute danger
ABAAD is committed to gender equality and protection from violence. For many years, FEMALE ran a community center in the south of the country as a safe haven – until it was destroyed by bombs in 2024. Since then, the team has continued its work, directly in emergency shelters and host communities. The destruction has not stopped them.
What your donation will achieve
Your support enables concrete help: a food package, a hygiene kit, an emergency hotline, or safe accommodation for women and children affected by violence. We have already reached around 600 families, including approximately 1,500 children. The need is great, and every donation counts.
