We are a group of currently five supporters. In Mainz, we are committed to strengthening children's rights and organize various events to this end.
The Mainz Terre des Hommesgroup has existed since 1973. From 1997 to 2007, it was a joint group with Wiesbaden. Since 2007, the Terre des Hommesgroup has been active independently in Mainz again. Our activities to date are summarized here
We are currently focusing on the issue of child poverty. Child poverty is a major socio-political scandal – especially in wealthy countries like Germany, but also worldwide. Child poverty in the Global South is a consequence of economic activity in the Global North.
