this is us

We have been one of over 50 Terre des Hommes groups in Germany since 1981. All members of our group share a fantastic team spirit and an open and creative approach to work. This combination allows us to consistently organize wonderful projects. We are a group of around 60 volunteers who are always happy to welcome new members to join our team.

So: Join us! We look forward to seeing you!

To be able to carry out independent projects locally, we founded our own non-profit association shortly after establishing the Oberhausen group. You can find out more about our association, Kinder- und Kulturkreis e.V., here:

Join our group

There's always something to do here. Whether it's cutting out place cards, moving chairs, or selling waffles – anyone who wants to lend a hand and is open to meeting new people can support our projects and dedicated teams on site.

Would you prefer to organize an exhibition, contribute creatively, and/or have ideas for new projects? Great!
