Wladimir Klitschko as a guest at Cafe Kyiv

A prominent guest and long queues at the entrance: Former boxing world champion Wladimir Klitschko attended an event in Berlin organized by terre des hommes and SOS Children's Villages, which focused on the current situation in Ukraine. As part of the "Cafe Kyiv" at the Colosseum Theater in Berlin, the discussion centered on, among other things, what children in Ukraine currently need most, how they can cope with the traumatic experiences of the war, and how children abducted by Russia can be helped.

Wladimir Klitschko, Joshua Hofert (board member terre des hommes ), and Lanna Idriss (board member of SOS Children's Villages), along with representatives of Ukrainian non-governmental organizations, reported on their experiences in Ukraine and the project work being implemented there during a panel discussion. Wladimir Klitschko emphasized his desire for Germany to be a visionary and leader in Europe. He also affirmed that all forms of aid are necessary and that humanitarian efforts must not be relaxed.
