Protection for young environmental activists!

Governments around the world look the other way when economic interests and business deals that harm the environment are enforced through violence. Or they even participate in reprisals against environmental activists. Terre des Hommes refuses to accept this and calls for better protection of environmental activists and demands that violence against them not go unpunished. We depend on them and their courageous commitment to realize the children's right to a healthy environment, enshrined in General Comment No. 26.
