Welcome to the Terre des Hommes Freiburg group! We are a group of about ten people aged 17 to 70. Through information booths, exhibitions, school visits, and many other activities, we raise awareness of the situation of children worldwide and advocate for their rights.

Our group is one of over 50 Terre des Hommes groups in Germany and was founded in 1973. What began as providing aid to children injured in the Vietnam War has grown into Terre des Hommes commitment to children in more than 30 countries. The name " Terre des Hommes " means "An Earth of Humanity." This is what we strive for. The volunteers in our group are constantly working to give disadvantaged children a future and to ensure their rights are realized. Through our activities, we want to inspire others to join us in working towards an Earth of Humanity.
