To stop for Afghanistan:
Advanced rights should get exit aids
Terre des Hommes , the International Rescue Committee (IRC), medico international, and TERRE DES FEMMES are calling on the German government to provide immediate admission, opportunities for departure, and support: People from Afghanistan who have been accepted by Germany must be brought to safety immediately and supported in doing so.
"We view the recent news regarding the temporary halt to all admission programs for vulnerable people from Afghanistan with great concern. The indefinite suspension of visa processing and issuance has further exacerbated the existential hardship for all those affected and created new dangers and uncertainties.
We are calling on the federal government to give visas for people with admission commitments, to enable exit options for all affected people across all messages - not only Islamabad - and to support all people with recording commitments in transit states up to evacuation.
We also see the Federal Government in the obligation to create transparency across all measures and to issue admission commitments as part of the federal recording program and the local workers as quickly as possible.
Endangered people from Afghanistan have a right to hope to survive security and the view. "
