Would you like to use Terre des Hommes for a topic that is particularly important to you?
In addition to local terre of the Hommes groups in nationwide cities, there are themed groups that work nationally. Honorary and full-time employees work together on children's rights issues in these groups. Along our strategic goals, they work together on topics and background knowledge on children's rights is built up.
The groups meet several times a year in central locations in Germany. Positions and demands are developed, joint actions and action material are developed and organized.
Our current themed groups
The group develops and develops contemporary development policy positions for alternative development.
This topic group offers a promotional forum and a networking platform for Terre des Hommes-active, which are committed to fleeing children nationwide.
The members of this group deal with the situation of child soldiers. They receive position to recruit minors by the Bundeswehr and to German arms exports in public.
Children suffer from pollution and their consequences. The group deals with the right of children on a healthy environment and participates in the further development of the positions and campaigns by Terre des Hommes.
Communication on social media channels is indispensable to draw attention to children's rights in society and politics. Our theme group social media supports our local terre of the Hommes groups and active members in their social media activities as the "digital support" group.
Terre of the Jeunes Group is available for young committed people . It is a network for young people between 18 and 35 who want to actively work for the rights of children and adolescents.
