»The preservation of the Ministry of Development is an important and positive signal because it underlines the high priority of this department. However, the content orientation is disappointing. The future development cooperation is primarily intended to serve German security and business interests and thus runs the risk of neglecting children. Almost every third child in the world lives in poverty. These children do not go to school and don't have enough to eat. Germany must primarily fulfill its responsibility for child and human rights instead of just looking at its own interests. In addition, the commitment to the mandatory financial goal of 0.7 percent of gross national income lacks, instead the funds are to be reduced. This reduction is simply irresponsible - at a time when other donor countries withdraw and millions of lives are in danger. "

»The abolition of the supply chain duty law is a dramatic blow to humanity and law. Children work worldwide under unimaginable conditions and endanger their lives for products such as coffee, bananas, sugar or textiles that we consume every day in this country. The main objective of the law of ending exploitation along the supply chain is completely in the background. We ask the members of the Bundestag not to carry the procedure. "
Escape / migration
»The projects in the field of migration and integration are fatal for refugee children and young people. Two of the few legal escape routes that exist at all are to be blocked: family reunification to subsidiary and humanitarian recording programs, for example from Afghanistan. These are life -saving measures that are important for refugee children and adolescents and their families. We see in our projects every day what it means when children have to be separated from their families or suffer from the consequences of traumatic escape experiences. Refugees need protection instead of exclusion. Families belong together! "
