Our name " Terre des Hommes " stands for a "Earth of Humanity." As an independent children's rights organization, we empower children and young people and protect them from violence and exploitation through our projects. We provide humanitarian aid and support projects with local partner organizations to improve the living conditions of children – in a collaborative and participatory manner. We support around 400 projects for children and young people in 47 countries worldwide.
We are looking for a
Donation Service Clerk (m/f/d)
Your tasks
- Donation Service and Communication: You will support our donors and interested parties by phone and in writing with a strong service orientation. You will always ensure prompt, appropriate, and respectful communication.
- Data management and administration of donor data: You will independently manage and maintain the donor data in our database in compliance with applicable data protection regulations.
- Collaboration and coordination: You will work closely with other donation-related departments, such as the finance department or IT.
- Implementation of fundraising measures: You are involved in the collaboration and support of fundraising measures (mailings, Terre des Hommes magazine) of the entire fundraising team.
- Donation accounting: You will reliably handle all tasks related to donation accounting, including the creation and dispatch of donation receipts.
- Inquiry management and complaint handling: Conscientiously processing inquiries and professionally dealing with critical feedback or complaints are part of your daily work.
Administrative tasks: You will support our team with reliable office organization and handle general administrative tasks. You will also be involved in the organization and implementation of events, mailing campaigns, and copywriting.
What we want from you
- You have a commercial or comparable qualification and have already gained professional experience in an office job or an assistant position relevant to the areas of responsibility.
- You are interested in the motives and motivations of people who advocate for children's rights.
- When dealing with supporters and interested parties, you appear confident, committed and at the same time appreciative.
- You are proficient in using MS Office and have experience working with databases and CRM systems.
- You are characterized by team spirit, strong communication skills and a solution-oriented approach.
- You care about children's rights and share the values and goals of Terre des Hommes as described in our guiding principles.
