Our name " Terre des Hommes " stands for a "Earth of Humanity." As an independent children's rights organization, we empower children and young people and protect them from violence and exploitation through our projects. We provide humanitarian aid and support projects with local partner organizations to improve the living conditions of children – in a collaborative and participatory manner. We support around 400 projects for children and young people in 47 countries worldwide. 

The communication of our topics and projects is central to our effect as an organization.

• You have the opportunity to actively participate in the public relations work of a meaningful organization.
• You can expect a value -based work environment and a motivated, supportive team.

• You can expect a versatile area where you can get involved and gain valuable experience.
• You work accompanied by about 20 hours a week, initially limited to one year, with an hourly wage of € 14.
• Your working hours are flexible. You can work both on site in our Osnabrücker or Berlin office as well as remote.

Your tasks

• You work on our website, especially by setting texts and pictures.
• You participate in creating our communication materials.
• You accompany actions and events (photo/video/text).
• You maintain our image database and support in the image along.

What we want from you

• You are enrolled students. Preferred in the areas of journalism, media and communication science, political science, international relations, peace and conflict research or comparable fields of study.
• You have pronounced communicative skills.
• You are interested in photography and video.
• Children's rights are important to you and you share the values and goals of Terre des Hommes as described in our guiding principles.
