The "Ehrenfeld Art Route" took place in the Cologne district of Ehrenfeld on the first weekend in May, and our Terre des Hommes Cologne group participated again this year. The concept: a stroll through galleries, off-site spaces, or hidden studios in backyards, where all kinds of art are exhibited. In addition to photography, informal art, sculptures, and media art, fans of Neo-Pop Art also found their money's worth.
The members of the Cologne group and their numerous volunteers invited people to the 8th charity art event at the "Atelier Colonia." Amidst inspiring works of art and accompanied by good music, visitors could browse, chat, and enjoy themselves in a relaxed atmosphere. A small but fine buffet with sparkling wine, coffee, and cake provided refreshments in between.
The results are impressive: A total of €7,900 was raised over the two days through the sale of artworks and other generous donations.
