A cooperation with the GLS Bank
Terre des Hommes is issuing a MasterCard together with GLS Bank. This offers a new way to easily do good in everyday life: Every purchase with the Terre des Hommes MasterCard supports protection centers and education for girls. It doesn't cost the cardholder a cent – the bank forgoes a portion of the proceeds, thus supporting aid projects for girls around the world.
Pay and help with the credit card
We chose to work with GLS Bank because it is the first bank in Germany to invest exclusively in ethical and ecologically sound investments. GLS Bank does not seek profits with the Terre des Hommes MasterCard. A standard MasterCard has an annual fee of €30. When the card is used to pay at a gas station or hotel, the bank forwards one-third of the proceeds to Terre des Hommes .
Existing account connections of the cardholder can be retained. All sales are conveniently debited from the current account. Existing credit cards can be informed informally by letter to the issuing bank. In individual cases, separate notice periods must be observed.
How do I get the Mastercard?
You can apply for the MasterCard directly at GLS Bank. Or you can register your interest with Terre des Hommes . You will receive further information about the card, and we will forward your request to GLS Bank.
