Exhibition: Everyday life in the accommodation – seen through children’s eyes

| Osnabrück

One in three asylum applications in Germany comes from a child or young person. Many of these young people are fleeing war, violence, and poverty – and are seeking protection and new prospects. However, in Germany, they often experience insecurity, cramped accommodation, and a lack of support. Studies show that the reception system hinders integration and violates children's rights.

The exhibition "No Place for Children" showcases their perspective. Children and young people from the Bramsche-Hesepe State Reception Authority (LAB) also documented their everyday lives with disposable cameras – directly, honestly, and touchingly. Their photos provide authentic insights into the lives of young refugees in our neighborhood. The exhibition also profiles four other Terre des Hommes .

The Terre des Hommes Osnabrück group and Exil eV cordially invite you to learn about the perspectives of young people seeking protection.
