Transparent Civil Society Initiative
We are in
There are no uniform publication requirements for non-profit organizations in Germany. However, those working for the common good should inform the community about the organization's specific goals, the sources of its funding, how the funds are used, and who the decision-makers are.
The “Transparent Civil Society Initiative” has therefore defined ten basic information points that every civil society organization – regardless of its legal form, size or field of activity – should make accessible to the public.
The "Transparent Civil Society Initiative" is supported by a group of sponsors consisting of
- Transparency International Germany eV.
- Federal Association of German Foundations
- German Central Institute for Social Issues (DZI)
- German Fundraising Association
- German Donation Council eV.
- German Cultural Council
- German Nature Conservation Ring
- Maecenata Institute
- Association of German Development Policy Non-Governmental Organizations VENRO
