Larisa Machemer is the new attendant finance, administration and staff at Terre des Hommes

Osnabrück, June 28, 2024-The Hommes Presidium has appointed Larisa Machemer to the new Terre of Hommes officer for the field of finance, administration and personnel. It will take her office in the Federal Office of Terre des Hommes in Osnabrück on July 1st.

»We are pleased to have found a lecturer with Larisa Machemer who has many years of experience in a managerial position for her new field of work. Her legal competence as a lawyer will certainly benefit us as well as her experiences in the commercial area, human resources and IT, «explained Regina Hewer, chairwoman of the Hommes Presidium.

The 52-year-old started her professional career as a legal country at the Association of Electrical and Digital Industry. There she later took over the function as head of the finance, personnel, law and compliance and, in addition to the commercial management, was finally responsible for IT and strategy development. "I am really looking forward to working with the international non -governmental organization Terre des Hommes because I can contribute my skills and knowledge there and at the same time work for the rights of children worldwide," says Larisa Machemer.

Larisa Machemer is the successor to Ursula Gille-Boussahia, who will retire after over twenty years of work for Terre des Hommes. The other terre of the Hommes board members are Beat Wehrle (programs) and Joshua Hofert (communication).
