Spain: opportunities for young migrants
Education, networking, and empowerment for an inclusive and just society – this is what the "CONVIVE Youth Lab" project in Barcelona stands for. The initiative aims to open up new perspectives for young people with a migration background and those at risk of social exclusion. The project aims to strengthen individual skills and promote social participation.
The project is implemented by the Terre des Hommes partner organization CEPAIM. It takes a comprehensive approach: With legal advice, educational opportunities, and psychosocial support, CEPAIM creates spaces where young people can develop their potential. Activities include online courses and workshops that help participants develop their personal and social skills. Young people learn to present themselves confidently and represent their interests in political and social processes.
Cepaim has set up a digital participation platform that enables young people to contribute their concerns and to participate in thematic exchange formats. This platform not only promotes networking, but also active participation of your own future.
The project aims to improve young people's life perspectives and strengthen their political participation. The voice of the young migrants in Catalonia is made audible by structured dialogue formats with decision -makers and participation in international youth networks.
