Spain: opportunities for young migrants
Education, networking and empowerment for an inclusive and just society - that's what the “Convive Youth Lab” project stands for in Barcelona. The initiative aims to open up new perspectives for young people with a migration background and those who are threatened by social exclusion. The project aims at strengthening individual skills and promoting social participation.
The project is carried out by the Terre of the Hommes partner organization Cepaim. It has a comprehensive approach: With legal advice, educational offers and psychosocial support, Cepaim creates rooms in which young people can develop their potential. The activities include online courses and workshops that help the participants develop their self-and-social skills. Learn young people to present themselves confidently and to represent their interests in political and social processes.
Cepaim has set up a digital participation platform that enables young people to contribute their concerns and to participate in thematic exchange formats. This platform not only promotes networking, but also active participation of your own future.
The project aims to improve young people's life perspectives and strengthen their political participation. The voice of the young migrants in Catalonia is made audible by structured dialogue formats with decision -makers and participation in international youth networks.
