Protection for young environmental activists!

Governments around the world turn a blind eye when economic interests and businesses that harm the environment are enforced with violence. Or they even participate in repression against environmental activists. Terre des Hommes refuses to accept this and calls for better protection for environmental activists and for pressure to ensure that violence against them does not go unpunished. We depend on them and their courageous commitment to implement the children's right to a healthy environment, which was enshrined in General Comment No. 26.
